We do not sell personal data. We use Google Analytics to understand website use and CookieYes to manage cookie choices, with these tools loaded through Google Tag Manager. We use the information you give us to respond, collaborate and operate Mewery responsibly.

What personal data do we collect?
Information you provide
When you email us, submit an enquiry or request investor materials, we may receive your name, work email, organisation, website, investment focus and any information included in your message. If you discuss a partnership, media request or role with us, we may also process your job title, professional background, correspondence and documents you choose to share.
Information collected when you visit
Our hosting and security providers may process limited technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, timestamps, referring page and diagnostic or security events.
Google Analytics may process page views, interactions, referring pages, browser and device information, approximate location and cookie identifiers when analytics cookies are allowed. CookieYes processes your consent choices and related records so those choices can be remembered and communicated to our tags.
Google tags may also send consent signals and measurements without cookies when analytics consent is denied. These requests can include page and referrer information, timestamps and browser information. Rejecting analytics cookies does not necessarily prevent all data transmission to Google.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we balance those interests against your privacy rights and reasonable expectations.
How long do we keep it?
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including follow-up, legal, accounting and reporting needs. Typical working periods are:
- general enquiries: for the conversation and up to two years afterwards;
- business, investor and partnership records: for the relationship and usually up to five years afterwards;
- unsuccessful recruitment applications: normally up to six months after the process, unless you agree to a longer talent-pool period;
- security and diagnostic logs: for a short operational period set by our provider;
- records required by law: for the applicable statutory period.
Cookie expiry periods are listed on our Cookies page. Analytics data and consent records have separate retention settings in Google Analytics and CookieYes; a cookie’s expiry does not determine when those records are deleted. Contact us for information about the retention settings that apply to your data.
We may keep data longer where a dispute or legal requirement makes that necessary, and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed.
What are your rights?
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask us to:
- give you access to your personal data;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- delete or restrict the use of your data;
- provide certain data in a portable format;
- stop processing based on legitimate interests;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.

We do not use the data described here for solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. We may ask for information to verify your identity before completing a request.
